James Newell, Staff Writer
James Newell is a first-year student at San Diego Mesa College, and a first-year Staff Writer for the Mesa Press. He is majoring in journalism and hopes to work as a sports writer or a sports broadcaster in the future. Whenever he isn’t too busy keeping up with life, he enjoys watching sports or Shark Tank, playing video games, spending time with family, and reading books on the beach. His favorite sports to talk about/watch are hockey, football, and baseball.
