Meet Jeramiah Giehl, the newly appointed Podcast Editor for Something Newsy Podcast for the Mesa Press! Jeramiah is a second-year Journalism major with plans to transfer to SDSU. As an aspiring journalist with experience as a Freelance Writer for print and digital outlets, a successful podcaster, and PR/marketing manager in the entertainment industry, having successfully lead a staff of five as Editor in Chief for two blogs and a podcast, frequent podcast host and guest, he has a knack for storytelling across various platforms. His experience ranges from producing and editing podcasts to managing social media, crafting brand identities, and even designing branded merchandise. His work has been featured on Blog Critics, Technorati, Blog World, New Media Expo, the Message Mag, Marriage Today, The Kick Ass Dad, and more, including his own compelling digital content for the Pulling the Threads Podcast. When he's not working on the Mesa Press podcast, you can find Jeramiah teaching martial arts, adventuring in the outdoors with his two kids—hiking, camping, paddling, or simply exploring. With dreams of becoming an Investigative Journalist, he's ready to dive deep and uncover the stories that matter.
