Leah Lara was born and raised here in San Diego, and this is her first year here at Mesa College! She is most excited about writing feature and opinion stories, as well as photographing events here at Mesa. She hopes to one day be able to write about significant and important issues that will positively impact and make a difference in her community. In her free time she loves to workout, shop, and get coffee with friends.
